The Pokemon girls...

Emma and her good friend Jenna are both in the midst of Pokemon-mania. Whenever they get together, they huddle over their Pokemon cards and books and speak what sounds like a foreign language to those of us who are clueless about Pokemon.

Jenna's 8th birthday is this weekend, and when her mom asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday, she said she just wanted Emma to come over and play Pokemon. So that's what we did today. After a nice lunch at Pei Wei with Jenna and Kay (Jenna's mom) I dropped Emma off at Jenna's house for a couple of hours and the girls played with their Pokemon cards, watched a Pokemon movie and read their Pokemon books.

The two had a wonderful time!

So sweet!! Happy Birthday!

Liam is a Pokemon follower too... I can't tell you how much allowance that boy has spent on those cards. We started taking him to a league where they battle. haha!

Oh my goodness, I'm so happy to read about two other little Pokemon loving girls! Hadleigh loves Pokemon too and as we are sitting on the couch and I just went to your blog, she's playing Pokemon on her DS. lol She had a Pokemon birthday party when she turned 6 and I made a Pikachu cake. I'm like you though and don't know much about them. I think they like them because they are cute little animal type things. lol

Emma and her friend are adorable and I bet they both had so much fun playing Pokemon! :)

That is so sweet! What a great way to spend your birthday! Those two are cuties!

Pokemon is a bit beyond me and the Wii games that we got are way beyond me too!

Hope you have a great week!

My daughter doesn't even though about Pokemon (that I am aware of). That is neat that Emma and her friend have a common interest.
